The true validation that you are blessed does not come from the prominent people who wish you well in life. Often it comes from the people who are focused on sending negative energy your way. After multiple attempts of trying to restrict your progress you get the validation that counts. You may never hear them say it but goes something like this. “You are blessed and highly favoured and cannot be cursed.”

Often the ‘final test’ before the breakthrough is being required to give up something of value . The thing you’ve waited for comes and then circumstances dictate that you have to walk away from it . There may be  tears as you walk away as the opportunity seems forever lost. Just when you think it’s all over life throws in a surprise . You have passed your test and blessings start flowing and suddenly overwhelm you . The thing you thought you gave up wasn’t lost at all . It comes back to you in a greater dimension in multifaceted ways .”

Being betrayed by a “judas” type person can in some cases be the most beautiful thing that can happen. It may be a lie that affected your career but which ultimately led you to launch a successful venture. It may be damage unfairly done to your reputation which led you to become mentally stronger and less influenced by the opinions of others. You will ultimately be thankful for the betrayal which became the catalyst to a stronger and more powerful you.

The ancient story of Abram and his nephew Lot is a powerful one. They were partners until they had a disagreement.  The moment they parted ways Abram started getting clarity of vision, divine guidance and experienced accelerated success. There are some people in our professional or personal lives whom a separation from will cause us to discover that our lives are more enriched.

For the person of faith the miracle can’t happen while you still have options. It happens when all options are exhausted and where your human abilities and talents desert you. When destruction seems imminent close your eyes, let your mind enter a place called the ‘suspension of disbelief’ and behold your miracle will be waiting for you. For all things are possible if you can only believe.

Professor Failure can be a very cruel teacher. I hate taking his classes as he often shows little empathy and no concern for my needs.  Even though Failure has often left me feeling humiliated he is an excellent teacher.  Without his methods my classes with success may be short lived. Failure first gives you the exam….. then schools you with the lesson.

A wise man of old called Isaac found the forces aligned against him had blocked up the well he invested all his time and resources in digging. In the midst of the drought rather than be discouraged he dug another well….from which sprung forth the waters of life. There is something powerful with the other well. The one you were meant to be too broken, too tired and too discouraged to dig.

Often when the answer comes it is unrecognizable. Yet there is a blessing at the heart of what seems like chaos. In time it becomes clearer.

For the person of faith a way of escape has been promised for every trial. You will however never have a choice of options. It is a predetermined way of escape. When it arrives nothing can prevent you accessing your path to freedom.

Anyone can count the number of seeds in an apple. No one can count the number of apples in an apple seed however. Plant that seed and be amazed at harvest that comes back.

The 3 boys placed in the fiery furnace may not have seen or been even aware that a 4th ‘Man’ was in there with them. They simply did not feel the heat the way it was intended. The people who put them in there certainly saw the 4th guy who appeared “Like the Son of God.” You have no idea what people see when they look into your situation.

The Lord allows us to sink low enough that we acknowledge that we need Him, then lifts us high enough that everyone knows He is with us. When you feel yourself going down you are not being buried, you are being planted.

Jehovah Jireh means the Lord provides. Abraham first used this term on Mount Moriah when in need of a miracle provision.   If you are in a famine make this personal and say He is My provider. Your provider will ensure you are a well watered garden in times of famine. You will appear like a spring whose waters never fail.

Faith is developed by disappointment. It did not happen when you wanted, how you wanted and from who you wanted. The beauty of disappointment where the road of uncertainty, filled with tears, leads you to a place that eventually exceeds your expectations. You come out saying to the Lord like King David did “it was good that I was afflicted, that I may learn your decrees.”
